Game:On Manitoba Booth

Greetings IGDA Members!

This Tuesday April 28th at 7:00, IGDA Winnipeg in conjunction with New Media Manitoba will be hosting a meeting event on the 2009 Game Developer's Conference held last March in San Francisco.

IGDA Chapter Coordinator Noah Decter-Jackson will be kicking off the event with a short retrospective on the Game:On Manitoba Booth and initiative organized for the event this year, where over 15 Manitoba game developers and several companies were represented, catapulting Manitoba's participation to well over 300% more than our numbers in 2008.

But that's not all!  This meeting will be headlined by a series of video interviews on the GDC Exposition Hall conducted by our good friend Kevin Hnatiuk of New Media Manitoba.

Many of you will remember the video interviews Kevin presented to the IGDA after the GDC 2007, and this year's videos promise to be filled with even more exciting projects, gadgets and tomfoolery straight from the GDC show floor.

At the end of event, we'll be inviting any GDC attendants to share their own thoughts or experiences from the event, and be opening the floor for questions.

If you missed out on the GDC this year (and even if you didn't), this IGDA-NMM event will not be one to miss!

Also please keep in mind, in order to attend, you must Register for this event with New Media Manitoba, who have also graciously arranged to host the event at Red River College!
